Very smart honestly. 

It’s important to remember that only one country (the US) has ever used nuclear weapons, and it was on mostly civilian populations, in a country already prepared to surrender, near the end of a war, out of a want to exert dominance and a sheer callousness for human life. 

And Trump makes that kind of geopolitics look cordial.
