The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) issued a memorandum in October to address the tax obligations for digital asset rewards in accounts frozen due to bankruptcy. This guide has been sent to MichaelR. of the IRS Small Business/Sole Proprietorship Department Fiore studied a hypothetical taxpayer (referred to as "Taxpayer A") who held cryptocurrency in an account on a bankruptcy platform and received rewards such as staking bonuses before the account was frozen. According to the regulations of the US Internal Revenue Service, taxpayer A received a reward in the first year before the account was frozen, and must include the fair market value of the date and time of receipt of the reward in the total income of the first year... even if the account was still frozen on December 31 of the first year. @gid

Due to growing concerns that the Bank of England's digital currency (CBDC) Britcoin will replace cash, the Governor of the Bank of England (BOE), Andrew Bailey, stated that "evidence shows that people do want cash, so we will continue to provide it." Bailey expressed his support for banks issuing wholesale CBDCs, but was cautious about issuing retail CBDCs. Bailey further added that the Bank of England is establishing a retail CBDC for innovation purposes. He believes that CBDC innovation should be open to the private sector, as it will ensure that commercial banks modernize their digital payment systems. @droptops

So — in many ways you can be quite skilled and very knowledgeable in one arena, and have little to if not absolute deficiency in another area. People also assume that as you become more successful that you are quite balanced in many arenas, and I think this is absolutely not the case

After admitting to the "attack" on Pump.fun for two months, JarettDunn (also known as Stacc) has requested the withdrawal of his plea to attack the Solana token publishing platform Pump.fun, citing abuse of power and transfer of criminal property. With this move, his legal team also withdrew from the case. Jarett Dunn currently has two weeks to search for representatives to attend the hearing, and he will seek to change his request during the hearing. If the request is accepted, the case will enter the trial phase, during which many witnesses (possibly including the founder of Pump.fun) will be summoned to testify in court. Nevertheless, the court may still reject Jarett Dunn's request. @sewatye
