Am I the only one who is confused if pilates actually works… or if it’s just a remainder of all the years of strength training? 🧘♀️

I love Pilates (specifically something called gyrotonic Pilates) for decompressing my spine and elongating the muscles. So many other exercises are compressive so this is a good balance to those activities. It also gets into the smaller muscles that don’t typically get as worked when I’m lifting
