I'm doing a lot of IRL user interviews lately. I'm a digital notes maxi, and usually take notes on my phone.

But IRL people think ur texting or distracted. It seems rude to be on your phone when they're doing you a favor

1. hows syncing experience from tablet to my pc? Can i get it automatically synced to my dropbox as MD files with OCR?

2. its bigger and heaver than notepad and i have to think about charge etc

paper tablet (e.g. remarkable) is a great best of both option here

yes, i have to collect all the notes and transpile them to digital later. It's a friction point

On the other hand its a good opportunity to revise and internalize them

And recall is shown in studies to be best when writing with pen and paper vs keyboard

Very true 😁👍 although I love pen & paper … it’s way less efficient for reuse ♻️ with team and others
