I'm doing a lot of IRL user interviews lately. I'm a digital notes maxi, and usually take notes on my phone. But IRL people think ur texting or distracted. It seems rude to be on your phone when they're doing you a favor INSTEAD: pen + notebook - and ppl even feel important!

Very true 😁👍 although I love pen & paper … it’s way less efficient for reuse ♻️ with team and others

yes, i have to collect all the notes and transpile them to digital later. It's a friction point On the other hand its a good opportunity to revise and internalize them And recall is shown in studies to be best when writing with pen and paper vs keyboard
