Lots of subreddits going dark to protest their API changes. What do you think will happen to Reddit? - nothing; just a loud vocal minority care - they’ll reverse course - they’ll go the way of Digg: beginning of the end for them

Lower API pricing. My hot take is that Elon started the tech layoff cycle and the overpriced API cycle. He opened the door and everyone's peeking through.
