To this day I think esports is greatly underrated, and it blowing up is a "when" not "if" situation. I watch professional sports and esports and the entertainment of both feel the same, but the $$$ involved are 2 to 3 orders of magnitude apart.

eh, still watching people play video games won’t ever compete with watching actual sports esports should be called “video games” i wouldn’t consider them athletes

I see your point but I also think that will slightly shift as we see VR esports starting to take shape. I agree that video games are not sports that really put your body on the line, but VR sports will get us closer to an actual esport.
