I hadn’t noticed the change yet! This new font has way more personality than Circular. Idk if that’s a good thing for a massive music indexing and discovery app. The personality of the type will certainly affect how people perceive what they’re going to listen to, and I can’t see it that meshing well with every genre (ex. metal).

wasnt a fan at first, still not a big fan lol the font isnt bad, but i also feel like they could've done a handful of other things to make the app better and this wasnt one of them

I find it harder and harder to use Spotify with every update. The UX is so confusing, they keep making it harder and harder for me to find my stuff because every opportunity they get they try to push me the Spotify Original content. I think the UI is fine tho.

I’d say the previous font was much more readable, and this new font IS kinda cool and dynamic. It definitely fits better in situ on things like album covers IMHO But yeah…readability matters too.

I think the new Spotify typeface is a step in the right direction. It feels modern and clean, but let's not forget that familiarity plays a big role in user experience. It’ll be interesting to see how quickly everyone adapts and whether it enhances the overall look and feel. What do you think?
