would be great if the search feature would already show the account/channel you are searching for (instead of having the extra button clicks to confirm)

Would love it if searches executed as you typed on Warpcast even if it was debounced to help handle load, having to explicitly hit search feels archaic in 2024

literally every major website i can think of lol

> facebook
> twitter
> linkedin
> a lot of ecommerce and grocery websites

tiktok is the only one who doesn't bc they opt for search key suggestions

Totally recognize performant search at the level those platforms do it is not an easy feat, was only commenting on the question itself - all popular social media platforms do have search with the behaviour that was requested 

(here I am trying to get just our user search performant *and* relevant lol)

Compare the team sizes and capitalization of all those companies to Merkle's.

It's definitely possible to get search on Warpcast to work that way but it's not trivial. Requires investment in infra and engineering time that has to be prioritized against other work.
