would be great if the search feature would already show the account/channel you are searching for (instead of having the extra button clicks to confirm)

Would love it if searches executed as you typed on Warpcast even if it was debounced to help handle load, having to explicitly hit search feels archaic in 2024

Most good mobile apps do (if they don’t show full results they at least show search suggestions as you type)

On the flip side, what’s the downside? This would be objectively better UX with minimal eng overhead if you use a debounced input (only search if no typing for one second)

tiktok is the only one who doesn't bc they opt for search key suggestions
