while we are talking design…why does almost every social waste all this space? (red rectangle to the left) is there a way to redesign to utilize that sacred screen space for root casts/home feed?

this layout also helps you delineate one cast from another cast it’s clear another cast is starting whenever you see an element in that left side area tldr; less cognitive load for users

i actually really like it. i experienced that reading this reply from yours, since downshift's cast had an image it was big. and it was clear what was happening. i like it a lot.
