Parents of 4,5,6 yr olds: How long does the random tantrum phase last?

... asking for a friend. definitely not asking for our 3y/o.

p.s. i do understand why it's happening. so many "WTFs" in our kiddo's brain given brain development + agency + sense of self.

In my personal experience tantrums vanish with elementary school. So 4 and 5 years should be the last two (with 5 less and less)

fwiw, my 4-year-old is still randomly tantruming... can't complain much though as our 7-year-old didn't really go through this phase 😆
