i dont get why we need L3s/appchains - custom gas token doesn't really make sense, if gas is gonna be abstracted away and so cheap anyways as to be negligible - isn't base itself becoming super fast/cheap/high throughput anyways? are there really apps out there doing so much activity that base mainnet isn't good enough? also don't see reason for posting DA to S3 over celestia or smth.

ye once observed that opening your phone to socials first thing in the morning lets everyone else program you. ditto emails. the first step is recognizing. i’ll be trying to wait to look at socials going forward. won’t always succeed, but i’m finding twitter is rather anxiety inducing, because of the rhetorical style the algo has biased for. having agency means protecting mental state from distraction.
