What do folks here think about non-EVM rollups for Ethereum? a la Fuel or StarkNet? Genuinely curious because I might be in a bubble

I'm excited for them. 1 reason Ethereum chose to innovate via L2s b/c the competition among them enables the experimentation with different designs than what a more ossified L1 would allow. StarkNet has native account abstraction, is already quantum proof, and it uses a language similar to Rust, which has its benefits

I generally agree - mostly all those points also apply to Fuel which I’ve worked with a bit more relatively. I just sometimes feel like these things get drowned out in a sea of OP Stack/Arbitrum One chains

Definitely agreed, rn most devs are just coping and pasting their code from mainnet. However, in the long run, I’m excited about the new apps and user experiences coming from non-EVM L2s. It’s still early in the L2 days (cliche ik ik forgive me @polynya) I’m excited to see what new apps will be deployed
