Those systems have some of the best menus and once you memorize the menu tree you can be 5 steps ahead of the screen and be done before anything shows up. When Brooklyn Public Library updated its systems all the old timers revolted and didn’t use it because it was so slow.

Yes cos it’s the safest system on the planet it’s the fastest system to access for a lay person. The speed of using the keyboard means what you can do with good UI a trained person can double the productivity on this screen.
