Y’all do fasting? I’m 24 hours in. Thinking I’ll for 4-5 days, which will make it the longest fast I’ve tried so far (last one was 72 hours)

What are the core benefits of a 4-5 day fast? I’ve had good experiences with intermittent fasting (16/8).

- changes your relationship to hunger - gives your body time to eat itself a little - nice occasional challenge - most of our ancestors used to do it - ppl claim many health benefits but I don’t have strong beliefs on that 🤷

I think 1 and 3 is key. Fasting is a lot more mentally challenging, assuming you normally have a fridge full of food and a grocery store nearby. It's not like you gonna die if you don't eat anything for 3 days...
