The job market may be weaker than it seems. According to The Wall Street Journal: The U.S. economy created over two million jobs last year, but a growing number of unemployed individuals are struggling to return to work. By November, more than seven million Americans were unemployed, meaning they were jobless and actively seeking employment. Over 1.6 million of these unemployed individuals had been looking for work for at least six months. According to the Department of Labor, the number of people searching for work for this extended period has increased by more than 50% since the end of 2022.

Yeah ever since covid, it’s has been a roller coaster for job seekers and it’s looking to get more worse. last year happened to be one of the worst years with many people laid off from work with out substantial reasons, many are stucked working part time because their hours were cut or because they can't find a full-time job. it’s more tougher for guys around office jobs because bosses are getting super efficient all of a sudden . The involvement of AI is another topic to worry about. I think the best we can do now is to network, maybe do some freelancing
