But most devs on telegram don’t want to build on TON because it sidelines them from all the EVM liquidity.

If Telegram finally migrates TON to an EVM-compatible chain it’s checkmate.

They should keep their own chain it should just be EVM

There were rumors a while back it was going to happen but haven’t heard anything real

It won’t at least in the next few years.

There are critical fundamental tradeoffs that let TON scale easily in trade for external call atomicity.

DeFi there is localized at a single contract at time.
No flash loans possible. Tx may span across multiple blocks.

It’s weird, but it got lot of users.

Evm-like TON L2 might solve this
