But most devs on telegram don’t want to build on TON because it sidelines them from all the EVM liquidity.

If Telegram finally migrates TON to an EVM-compatible chain it’s checkmate.

not only that - TON smart contracts are confusing and unintuitive as fuck

I agree, they’ll never do that. But I also agree that it’s a huge stopper! 

I have been there myself: I code contracts in solidity and took me years bc of how careful and skilled you need to be. Not really thrilled about starting all over again. But the web3 built-in functionalities of Telegram are unparalleled and growing at the speed of light!

They should keep their own chain it should just be EVM

There were rumors a while back it was going to happen but haven’t heard anything real
