It's somewhat incredible to me that we still don't have simple, free, crypto native payment request widgets that you can just embed into your app or website Everything I've explored so far is over engineered

Do you know if anyone ever built an ENS Pay widget? Basically anyone can pay funds to an ENS resolved address using a simple, clean, checkout widget Feel like this must exist somewhere

that is built into most wallets, unless im misunderstanding your point ENS is more the protocol that improves payment UX rather than being a payments app itself (screenshot from rainbow)

Yes I know that, I meant is there a way for a website to have a checkout widget that deposits all funds transacted on it directly to an ENS So rather than the sender's wallet finding the ENS and initiating a send transaction (sender initiated), a user could visit a web app, be given a price for a service and then checkout and pay directly to a specific ENS without having to look it up (receiver initiated) I get that it's not part of the core protocol but it would be a neat feature to have available as an SDK/widget My hunch is someone must have built something like this during one of the ENS hackathons
