It's somewhat incredible to me that we still don't have simple, free, crypto native payment request widgets that you can just embed into your app or website

Everything I've explored so far is over engineered

that is built into most wallets, unless im misunderstanding your point

ENS is more the protocol that improves payment UX rather than being a payments app itself

Do you know if anyone ever built an ENS Pay widget?

Basically anyone can pay funds to an ENS resolved address using a simple, clean, checkout widget

Feel like this must exist somewhere

I tried doing a transaction on herocast (I think) using paywithglide and it threw up an error when I tried to register another FID, so I didn't explore it further

This all being said I do have huge respect for all the teams tackling payments in crypto. It's challenging, ultimately rooting for the likes of @tusharsoni.eth @dcposch.eth and others
