I realize that nobody’s bullet proof but at least use some tools to help you out!

This is why I’m still hesitant to do anything on mobile wallets today - so few of them have sufficient transaction screening

Fair - it does request a lot of permissions. Maybe this can be improved with MetaMask Snaps cc @scharf (I know their UI is limiting but it's better than nothing 🤷‍♂️)

Regardless - if that worries you, I'd suggest using a separate browser that is dedicated to crypto stuff and just grant it permissions there

Love to use it, but my main problem is that I am concerned that most handy plugins must be granted full access of the webpages. I dont know if Stelo does this btw.

The messaging should be clear

I think it comes down to awareness. 
There’s a lot of fragmentation when it comes to best practices. In most cases people don’t seek these tools out until after something has happened.

One of my biggest concerns with these tools is that they require you grant them access to read and modify all data on all websites you visit. This just becomes another attack vector.

I use Coinbase wallet and it protected me many times. They have this built-in, but will have a look at stelo. Do you know how both compare?

These security features should be built directly into wallets or part of the infra itself. We can’t expect people to download extensions to keep themselves safe, most people don’t know how to use a password manager
