turns out most people dont have icloud keychain enabled on their iphone good lesson since i baked coinbase smart wallet into my app and enabling keychain is part of that flow -- users are confused. have to prepare them for it

That's not true? I think Apple forces you to enable it if you start using Passkeys.

Also had this experience onboarding people in LA. I would say 80% of people had it set up but def a very distinct amount of people who had never used it before and had to enable in their settings

i don't even use icloud so it's foiled my ability to use some new crypto apps coming online lately. very much appreciate when a yubikey is supported wish i could use bitwarden for it on my iphone

Had the same experience with Uniswap wallet. I deleted it and reinstalled it to test and record onboarding flow with Uni.eth subnames but I wasn’t able to. So I created another account from the wallet but couldn’t get the whole flow from entering the app to setting up the wallet. 🤷‍♂️

I totally agree. Users are confused and it’s understandable. If a channel could be made which supports a feedback system, it’ll help with the confusion.
