If you wanna have peace in crypto, delete TG. It's pretty simple.

This is more of an America thing. Telegram has close to a billion users worldwide. In fact the reason why it's popular in crypto is because it's popular worldwide outside the US. Non-US crypto folks citing it as their preferred way of communicating so Americans in crypto started using it more.

I'm originally from Ukraine, and Telegram is #1 messenger over there (in Eastern Europe in general). I don't understand why the rest of the world is still using WhatsApp, iMessage, etc. TG is just more secure and UX/UI is so straightforward and slick!

Definitely lots of crypto folks yes, don’t know other people who use it otherwise. Also my Afrika burn camp management (also mostly crypto folks). it just feels super spammy and packed, UX is a bit of a tap landmine. It needs to be simplified tbh

Yeah, I guess telegram is pretty Qanon coded in the US now, I’ve pretty much only used it for crypto group chats

If you’re not in crypto, you know telegram for drugs I’d say usernames but there’s a big overlap with crypto people there

Eh. How can people not know Telegram? Status is the decentralized alternative. The suggestion of Vitalik, not mine.

I really hate Telegram, I’ve had the worst experience every time I’ve used it. Way too much spam and non-stop scammers

telegram tries to be huge but is still a very niche product with extremely small penetration in western countries imessage, messenger and whatsapp are literally what everyone is using in western countries and chances are they'll still keep using it especially now when all of them are more secure than tg
