Oh, I actually also like Telegram very much, even tho I personally use Signal and Threema for normal DMs. I rather wanted to say, TG can be really noisy (I recently hit the 500 free group limit due to being involved in so many topics and war rooms). And for peace of mind, it can help to deactivate it sometimes 😅

I actually kinda like telegram! Good emoji reactions, some markdown support, fine group management. Better than alternatives IMO

- most people don’t use Signal, it feels bland, and requires a phone number
-  WhastsApp requires a phone number
- Twitter DM has bad group support
