has anyone else seen super fast growing web3 consumer products that aren't using some X to earn model? aka actually just growing very quickly organically?

Lens Protocol is growing organically, but average content quality is very poor since there's no filter on who is invited

yes true, this is a good example! they had actually mentioned lens as another project they weren't sold on hahaha i'm like hmm are there any that exist out there then...

IMO most mainstream web3 consumer product that is working is NBA Top Shot from Dapper Labs.

I feel the key difference between farcaster and lens is that with farcaster it's very explicitly just about social and no token stuff, but with Lens, value is pretty ingrained so it attracts a lot of airdrop farmers, which muddies a the puddle :(
