How do you decide which book to read next? Historically for me it’s more flavor of the week (based on a friend’s rec, “You Also Might Like” algos, what the library highlights, etc) I’m starting to come around to a more forward-looking, topic-driven approach (kinda like a college syllabus)

depending on the current hunger. usually bookmarked at mind for about 5 tracks at least. read them concurrently in fives. approach the next one that optimizes the previous immediate reads' practical output.

Damn that’s quite the approach…5 at a time. Nice! I like the notion of reading 3+ concurrently then deciding the next one based on takeaways from the previous read.
