What I want to believe: web3 enables alignment between social app devs and users, so that the UX can be optimized for wellness rather than addiction. What I suspect: in the presence of apps designed with addiction in mind, wellness oriented designs will be outcompeted.

hence will be more valuable to power users, some of whom are also based investors and VCs, the people like us will always find those.

Reminds me of a thread from @0xdesigner: https://x.com/0xdesigner/status/1651240773554151429?s=46&t=QiZu_7RbzbjKl7eMyW7XRA I would prefer healthy social media usage to be democratized, but being a luxury good is better than being non-existent.
