Any tips on how I can resurrect and re-season a cast iron pan?

Tried avocado oil in the oven but didn’t seem to do anything

We use this to clean the pan and get up the bits burnt to the pan and I use soap as well when it looks like this. Afterwards Heat/ apply small bit of oil and clean with paper towels. When the paper towels are no longer black and are have no black when you wipe it’s ready to use again. The season will come over time as you cook with love
