I think that the universe is much bigger than what people think. I think electromagnetic waves travel through the Aether, which explain the red shift and also the galaxies that are very old at “the edge of the universe”. The Big Bang theory is incorrect. That also explains the Fermi paradox

Also that explains why the Webb telescope may be finding galaxies that are older than the “age of the universe”. The Hubble constant is probably how light dissipates. I’m still developing this idea and may be completely wrong

I think big bang/inflation is wrong. The universe could be much older and larger. If a false vacuum decay event occurred 13.8 billion years ago instead of the big bang it would have created the same background radiation.

I’d love to read more posts on this topic 3$DEGEN - at one point, we also believed that gravity and time were constant, but further discovery uncovered immense nuances. Likely the same with universal expansion imo!

The Fermi paradox is just a matter of inability to communicate in such a large scale time and space. Species may go extinct before being able to communicate with others while they are still alive.

On the Fermi paradox, have you watched Unacknowledged? https://m.imdb.com/title/tt6400614/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk
