I worked with Kurt Cagle a while back - I always find his predictions both insightful and thought provoking. Do others agree with these predictions? (There are 9 sections, I did not use ai to summarize these 3) 1. We've seen great progress in stochastic ai (neural nets trained on data), but to get further, we will need to invest effort in connecting graph databases with stochastic ai to actually reason about topics 2. Video generation tech will continue getting better, but we may see backlash 3. It’s criminal that not one word has been spoken about reducing fraud this election season. I’d wager 80% of internet users have either had their info hacked or been the victim of credit card fraud. Accepted as normal now..??

Heads up - there's a legitimate sounding scam going around where they call and say your Google account has been hacked and then try to get you to reset your password but then click a number displayed on your other device. The scam is the number is displayed on their device instead and if you confirm, they get access.. If this happens, just reset your password through Google accounts yourself - don't let anyone in the phone reset it for you! They almost got me a few mins ago and it sounded completely legit.. 🤖

Has anyone run into and solved a next.js@14, [email protected] problem where adding <ChakraProvider> causes the Hydration error "Expected server HTML to contain a matching <span> in <body>." with: <html> <body> ^^^^^^ <Providers> ... <DefaultPortal> <span>

Opinions Wanted: Trying to build a home server that can run multiple eth/OP nodes, sell AI compute to Akash Network, be a personal drive, and possibly run a plex server. Linux is a must. Is the first step to choose a rack?
