The issue I have with going in the afternoon is the amount of people in the gym. You're fighting over machines, weights... Just a bit of a pain in the ass. But no, you're not weird for not wanting to bust your ass at 7am

why weird just your personal preference, some like early in the morning some like after work, some even night time just before bed, go with whatever suits your schedule and mood and is sustainable longterm

I used to be like that. Started fasting 3 yrs ago (16/8). So I skip breakfast now. I usually wake up, drink black coffee and feel very ready to go workout with an empty stomach and feeling light. I feel a bit lethargic after lunch and now I prefer to do less active stuff in the afternoons
