this is a highly opinionated take from @zinger 

FC graph is a social network graph which means people will use it in different ways 

The most bullish case for FC is that it will be the last social graph that you really need to build and maintain

Likely to splinter into multiple graphs at a certain point with shared identity

how do you imagine that would work at the protocol level?

so many people try to fragment a user base of 50k people when we should really be concerned about getting it to 5m+ before we go too far down the patch of fragmenting users on the network 

cozy corners type groups (<1000) are very important but they should not create their own island that makes them less interoperable
