yes. but it sets the creator rewards portion of zora protocol rewards to the original caster. idea is to make creators stop and think "should i mint this" before casting. inspired heavily by this manifesto i wrote about 6 months ago

Your thinking is fundamentally flawed. You are enabling people to mint artwork I've already minted elsewhere simply because I shared the image here. You're also robbing me of the right to have my artwork minted on a contract I own, for a price I determine. 

This behavior will drive artists away from FC. Period.

Completely agree. I don't think he has sold 1/1s for high prices, I'm guessing he doesn't relate to what's at stake for some of us for this reason based off his replies.

what if only the original caster can deploy?

instead of "where's the mint button?" replies, fans could use the action button, which would present the creator with a frame that enables them to mint, in a couple clicks without leaving the page.

the actioneer could even sponsor gas and validate the artist's idea.

so if a collector were to signal that they want to collect what you created, by sponsoring gas, providing market validation, and streamlining the process for you, that would still be a negative?

that's precisely what we are doing right now. without some level of controversy to an idea, you often get fluffy feedback, instead of brutal honesty. the passion you're all bringing to this discussion is incredibly helpful. truly, i thank you. and please, take it from me as an artist. i'm not here to leech off anyone.

I only made that assumption based off the info on your website. Like many expressed, your proposed model isnt ethical. If you genuinely want to help artists, I’d highly recommend taking the feedback and adapting your concept to avoid mass reporting.
