I didn’t have the will to meal prep this week so I have been eating tinned fish and frozen broccoli for lunch. This is a meal that took me basically 0 work. I think frozen vegetables are a hugely underrated tool in healthy eating. They don’t go bad, are very fresh because they are frozen at peak, and super cost effective. This is a stupidly bougie tin of fish imported from Japan — $3 1/3 of bag of ORGANIC frozen broccoli -$1 So that’s a $4 lunch that has 20g protein from the fish alone, fiber, carbs, and healthy fats (omega 3 in fish). And you can bring down cost by using less bougie fish.

Looks yummy! :) Love cooking with frozen veggies! 🥦 I often buy a blend of broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower and sautee them with olive oil and spices. Also love using frozen spinach for sauces and baking :)
