What strategy or tools do you use to keep track of your long-term and short-term writing goals? 📖 When writing the first draft of my novel, I had a word count goal in my head (2k words/day) but now as I edit I find it harder to organize and track tasks and milestones. Would love to hear what works for others :)

Whoa! 2k a day is a loooot. I assume you did a plenty of outlining/planning before shooting for 2k days? If you’re editing, and need more structure, perhaps you could sit down with the goal to edit/refine one scene a day? Or depending on the your works’ structure, one chapter a day, etc. GL!

On the word count - I've lowered it to 250 / day for my own writing projects. It's more attainable, and so small I usually blitz past it and get to the thousands anyway.

For world building purposes you can maintain a dedicated wiki and iterate on all kinds of characteristics, ideas and how basically all of it is connected. Can then track intentions and goals inside the story and its progression and organise a Kanban kind of board for your working packages. And then, one day at a time.
