Sometimes I just let Cursor using sonnet or o1 try to figure out what could be causing a bug just by looking at the code and me describing the behavior I'm trying to fix. It has never worked. They still work best for me as auto-complete, stackoverflow and multi-file editors on steroids.

have you used codebase context with cursor? pasting full error traces works like a charm in nextjs projects

Hmm. I've got it to fix bugs after multiple back and forth with error messages.

it does help sometimes with few iterations, especially, if it knows more than you in certain areas, e.g. for me some specifics in front-end, but it's more like juggling in reality 😅
