Then put it in front of people and iterate...

What I want to do for my team: mini-hackathon. Just give each one one month of contributor payment (aka salary) and tell them to build something for our app. 

I’m sure they come up with great stuff.

But they say customer discovery calls comes first. Speak to your customers. See if they are actually facing the problem you are trying to solve.
