You touch on some very important points regarding the landscape of AI and its cross section with the rest of life, including creativity. I agree with your points, data costs something to someone and it shouldn't be free. Much the same way someone's opinion becomes public domain, building in public, making code public, putting your art out there makes it public and is a vulnerable state to be in. That costs something and deserves to be paid out. You hope its with more views, follows, whatever, but often, it comes with a degree of stress.
AI doesn't feel stress. It just builds, and its fascinating. It doesn't know what it doesn't know. We're the square pegs trying to fit into a round hole and AI needs to be more closely examined for potential ethical improvements for all of humanity. Copyright is just one fold and the top minds of the world need to be making some important decisions for mankind with regard to AI's use in public works. 0 reply
