Running

Need a pair of shoes for my first marathon. I've been running/training on barefoots (Atreyu). Is really the Vaporfly 3 as good as its pricetag?

For your first marathon go for a max cushioning shoes. You’ll regret the carbon plate if you are not used to it. Especially for those long distances. 
Unless your goal for the marathon is sub180, in that case you are on another level and would benefit from the plate.

So I guess skip the Vapors then? Any shoe you recommend?

Thanks all for the input. I tried the VF3s and I instantly loved them. I almost never buy anything fancy for myself but I bought these on the spot. First marathon, here we go!

I’m an ASICS Kayano maxi when you need cushioning and support. But that’s because I’m a bit pronator.
