I just had a Lipids panel taken and my LDL cholesterol levels were a bit high I'm quite surprised since my intake of foods high in cholesterol and trans fats has been minimal in the last 6 months According to Bard soluble fibers and plant sterols help reduce it. I do eat these but might have to eat more 🤷‍♂️

+1. Most cholesterol is produced by the liver and not absorbed through diet. As for the minor part that comes from food, research shows that LDL cholesterol depends more on saturated and trans fat intake than on dietary cholesterol.
