My longterm plan for Nouns is to make it the best wealth distribution vehicle in the world.

The greatest good Nouns can do is help ensure a functional and desirable society as we head deeper into agi timelines.

Nouns already possess many of the budding qualities needed for such a project to succeed, a 3+ year history of true decentralized fund mgmt perhaps the most prominent.

Whos excited for this future and want to help make it reality?

hardest part for me to wrap my head around is where the money comes from at scale. Auction is already dwindling

I hear you but Krel's words of "wealth distribution" make me think money. I do think Nouns can be valuable for building reputation, social capital, etc. But really money is what most people realistically come to nouns looking for as a proposers

What if it’s not all money per se. Opportunity. Intro/vouch. Provable reputation. 

Just thinking out loud. I too don’t know the why fund ⌐◨-◨ at scale answer.

VC would expect a return which I don't think has ever been aligned with nouns goals.

I definitely could see the charity case though -- the early DUNA convos seemed to be pushing in that direction (non-profit)

I don't think it's the wrong Q though -- without money, nobody would care about nouns. So it actually seems quite existential to me that it gets figured out. 

Maybe it is abundant but we need a strategy and can't just sit on our hands expecting it to come just because it is abundant

in abstract terms, and without underplaying the issue, i think its the wrong Q to focus on

Money is generally abundant (look at vc, charity etc) and the goal/solution is to build a product (distribution mech) worthy of attracting capital.

i think if we build the best grant making software on the internet the money will come
