Hello and thank you for the AMA! Do you believe that people mistake progress that is more or less advancement in entertainment consumption for that of material progress that advances us as a society? Are we going slow when a lot of people think we're progressing fast?

Entertainment is a real value, and advances in entertainment are a form of progress!

Re the speed of progress, I do think it has slowed down over the last ~50 years, although it's still faster than at any time before the Industrial Revolution.
