Good morning guys 🌄. Boxing Day! December 26th, the day after Christmas, is celebrated as Boxing Day in several countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The origins of Boxing Day are unclear, but there are a few theories: 1. Gift boxes for servants: In the 19th century, servants and tradesmen would receive gift boxes from their employers. This was a way for the wealthy to show appreciation for their staff's hard work throughout the year. 2. Charity and alms: Another theory suggests that Boxing Day was a time when churches would open their alms boxes, which contained donations for the poor, and distribute the contents to those in need. 3.Sports and leisure: In modern times, Boxing Day has become a day for sports, sales, and leisure activities. Therefore,get out there and have fun,be joyful and stay based!!
