If the Tucker interview helps Congress block further weapons shipments to Ukraine and forces a peace process, is that a good thing or a bad thing? Curious for the vibe check on FC. (Anyone who's followed me for a while knows where I stand.)

It wasnβt a hard hitting interview, but it was interesting hearing Putin discuss things like scuppered peace talks and the Nordstream pipeline debacle. I think anything that slows the perpetual war machine can only be helpful for humanity

It somehow felt to me like Tucker *thought* he was satisfying his responsibility to be hard hitting and ask the tough questions, and didn't realize that the actual bar is like 100x higher than what he was doing.

This is just the first 45 minutes, Putin goes on and on twisting truths, and omitting critical detail. From the 2014 revolution and Ukrainian army interference, to NATO, and other important details like the Russian military downing a civilian aircraft from Ukrainian airspace https://warpcast.com/eylon.eth/0xc20e28b6

So yes, Tucker was out of his depth. He was trying to prove the point that we can achieve more through dialogue. But of course, Putin can cherry pick his interviewers just to maintain the perception of an open dialogue.
