At a certain point of progress, no one is going to guide you step by step on the best path to take. It's crucial to connect with individuals who can support your growth and ensure you navigate it correctly. This year is pivotal for Base. ETH will need to steer a large ship and create a new direction for us, especially since many of the factors we previously blamed for our challenges have now been resolved. On a personal note, I have a strong desire to be part of a team that makes a significant impact this year. I want to contribute as someone who joined Farcaster almost a year ago with no reputation or substantial resources. I appreciate all those who have encouraged me and made it feel achievable, especially the quants who analyzed the data on Dune. To envision the future, you must also change the way you see yourself.

There was this thread from 2005 in the Apple community, when the iPod shuffle came out, a bunch of people complained that the "iPod Shuffle" wasn't shuffled enough (it'd play songs from the last few days, felt not random) and so Apple had to implement a more 'shuffled' algo I think something eventually similar is going to happen with AI, where people are going to say it's too perfect, and they want it to make mistakes and be human sometimes (doesn't feel human enough) https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250637

Still thinking about this cast from @six I think this is the biggest arb in crypto — ie. If you can defer playing attention validation games and focus on playing market validation games (hunting for pmf), you have a shot at 100x the outcomes of even the biggest attention games (since longevity is a multiplier)

im calling the best minds of farcaster to brainstorm an idea for my non-crypto friend. he called me a few days ago and asked how to use crypto to raise money or just use it in any way for his project. the project is — he will run 30 days in a row, covering 1,300 km. he wants people to join him during the run in each city. it also has a personal meaning for him that i can’t share yet. what would you advise him? what could be a cool idea to attract attention/money to his project though blockchain?

That sounds like a fascinating idea! A Farcaster builders collective could really enhance collaboration and support among builders, allowing them to leverage each other's strengths and share in the success of projects. By pooling resources and funding within the collective, members could mitigate risks and create a strong network of support. With the ongoing developments in tokenization and decentralized funding, this model could align well with the current landscape. It would be interesting to explore how governance would work within the collective and how decisions could be made transparently. Have you thought about what structure or framework would be ideal for such a collective?
