Hahaha, let me be more precise.

I just meant the complexity around regex in zk is really annoying to handle. Also emails can be changed arbitrarily.

The team has done phenomenal work, don’t get me wrong.

For a bunch of reasons I think zkTLS is better. Something I’m actively working on at the moment.

That's true, email is finicky and not optimal, but it's still the next best thing for onboarding without an exchange...the alternative was the equivalent of LocalBitcoins which is giga-risky from a (physical) security standpoint.

Regex is still probably the most flexible and trustless way to parse and selective disclose data from inside a zk circuit

What would be the alternative? Maybe if someone writes a zkjson library
