Rice is water intensive, Gujarat is dry as fuck.

Both my parents are 5’4, and I’m 6’2.

It’s because there was a drought when they grew up so their generation is malnourished. So the wheat preference is probably due to water MEV

ah fair. i figured it had to do with how monsoon + winter is in each state bc that's how all our diff cuisines came to be.

i was surprised not to see it closer to 0 (probably around where MH is) bc this was based on data after 2010s with our food consumption patterns being way different that it would've been decades ago.
