This paper seems to be about the LWE problem, which is what you need for FHE.

ZK on lattices instead uses the shortest vector problem (SVP), shortest integer problem (SIS) etc.

LWE is what makes FHE really slow. Without the errors it becomes a lot simpler.

i'm surprised there hasn't been more than one paper on the planted clique problem used as a hardness assumption for a cryptosystem since Hudoba16 – I think it was a lark for him but there's some undiscovered brilliance in it
