Obviously @zkp2p, that was absolutely necessary. Proof of Passport and zkified identity. Private P2P payment pools. I'm interested in seeing more "layered anonymity" applications, a la zupass. I have a bunch of data and can choose to disclose a part of this. That I'm French, that I'm over 18, that I live in Paris, for other applications to consume. It helps bridge the gap between the panopticon of blockchain (everything is public) and the panopticon of data management from private companies (everything is private but owned by meta). You choose to selectively disclose who you are, at your own pace. That's a level of control we've never quite seen, neither in the decentralized web3 internet, nor in the federated web either.

Can digital signatures be seen as a kind of zero knowledge proofs? I can prove I have the private key without revealing it. If yes, so many applications

onchain & offchain strong signals that allows to build reputation systems. one of the use cases - over collateralized loans but it really comes down to granular data disclosure to me

If compare with optimistic or in general? /zksync offer their stack elastic chain where some of projects take fees on themselves for example bcs of structure and math in their base. Scalability is better and security is higher. Zero Knowledge technology is implemented not only in blockchain as I know.
